We’ve just had a paper entitled “The world looks better together: How close others enhance our visual experiences” accepted for publication in Personal Relationships. In two studies, people who merely viewed pleasant photographs with a friend (relative to when viewing them alone or with a stranger) judged them to be both more pleasant and more real.
