Erica Boothby, a member of our lab and the lead author on a recent Journal of Personality and Social Psychology article  (Boothby, Clark & Bargh, JPSP, 2016) on people believing that they watch other people more than other people watch them, has written a New York Times op ed on the findings of that research.  The op ed appeared on April 30, 2017 in the column Gray Matter.  The link to that op ed appears below: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/29/opinion/sunday/youre-too-focused-on what-youre-focused-on.hhtml?ref=todayspaper
